Food operators must ensure they and anyone else working with food in the business are appropriatley instructed, supervised and/or trained. The level of training depends on the work they do.

To ensure staff within the food business read, understand and sign a document outlining the essentials of food hygiene prior to starting work. A template for this can be found
here.- Ensure anyone handling open food is trained to a higher level. It is recommended that a Level 2 standard is achieved. We offer the CIEH accredited Level 2 course locally in Essex on convenient dates for individuals to attend. Book online here.
